Information about the server, what's next
Hey, I have been working on the server base for the last few years. I was doing it alone for a long time. Regarding the current server situation, we hit some hard limitations, such as the old network code and the limits of the 8.6 client. The only solution is to port everything to a newer TFS (The Forgotten Server)with mounts and other features included.
This is possible, and most of the work is ready now, so the current server is moving to a newer core with more features. This includes features from main Tibia like the Bestiary, mounts, new outfits, and new quests.
Most of this content will be ported feature by feature, enabling new stuff in upcoming patches. This will disable the native 8.6 client and require porting to a newer client that will be similar to the normal Tibia client.
However, all core server features, like spells and current mechanics, will not change.

So if it is so beneficial - why didn't you do it already?
Part of the server relies on players using 8.6. However, on the test server, we are seeing very good results with lower ping and less lag. The migration requires house resets and figuring out how to move to the new depot structure—which uses a list of items rather than items having specific positions inside the depot. New content, like quests and monsters, has to be ported to fit the version, which is currently in the process. But, there was another option—other source files that are being worked on, which are vastly different. They have new quests, a better map, and a lot more content that can fit into this 8.6 server logic. That requires a lot of work on items; the systems are so different, it is like cats and dogs.

What's next
I will be trying a different strategy for changes. I wanted to do a big update with a bunch of stuff at once. Everything I put on the server is tested by me so that players don't bug out in most cases. The current plan is to migrate to the newest client version with mounts. Then, I will migrate the map step-by-step with each section and quest logic. You might ask: when? Currently, everything is working on the test server, so the only thing to figure out is how to migrate progress. Regarding houses: all of the houses currently on the server will be vacated. The twist for Guildhalls is that players will be able to auction them. So, after the migration, all houses besides Guildhalls will be free to take.

Why won't you reset the server?
I thought about a reset, but that wouldn't be fair to the players who put hours into the server. After the migration is successful, there will be a second server. The second server will migrate in cycles to the main one.
What does that mean? All progress and items will be migrated to the main server, while the second one will restart—but with a twist. Each time, we will add new items, content, or stuff that isn't yet accessible on the main server. After being introduced on the test/seasonal server, it will be added to the main server.

That will benefit the server greatly because it gives me ground to test. If there is a game-breaking error, it won't affect the years of playtime people have put into the main game.

Ps: Parts of Gnome City are currently being migrated; I am still sorting out the discrepancies between the wikis. This location will be one of the first to be migrated from the new files to the current server. You can talk to Xelvar by using the phrase "adventures".

Edit: From 15.08 to 01.09 there is 50% bonus experience event.
Fixed version of client with working questlog and no memory leak.
Jack fate - there is no longer possibility player will be teleported to Goroma after repairing ship.

Added multiple raid bosses missing.
Added missing items to current boss items(example robe of underworld to orshabaal)

Balance changes:
Supreme health potion heals in range 750-1045 was 800-1045
Ultimate mana potion in range 325-525 - was 375-525
Knight got buff to exori and exori gran dmg - approx 10% dmg buff.
Exevo gran mas tera got 100-200 flat dmg buff.
Sorcerer exevo gran mas vis deal less dmg and cost 700 mana (from 600 and dmg is comparable with exevo gran mas tera).
Other spells were not changed.

Characters lose less exp and skills - at the moment with 5 bless its approximately 35,9 loss exp (64,1% loss reduction)
After update it will be
30% loss exp (70% loss reduction)
Skill rate lose is reducded aswell.

Futher changes for bless in future if thats not enough.
Each bless giving 9% which cause player to lose only 25% exp (75% loss reduction) - till new bless on Oriath Island is introduced.

Added custom spells for monsters like Prince Drazzak - it will be unlocked after futher testing. At the moment there was random crash one time and im checking all options.

Royal Rescue Quest: In each possible scenario, the player can now go back or move forward without getting stuck.
Isle of the Mists: The druid teleport in the POH now works.
Oriath Quest: Changed phrasing and functions to detect "Dracola's eye," "Dracola," and "Eye." Added multiple checks for the quest state to prevent it from bugging out.
Sam NPC: Keywords like "backpack" and "old" now work better.
If you notice an NPC having problems with a keyword, please report it in the bug-report channel.
Shop Items: Changed shop items to new IDs so you can put them on the market. The VIP medal is now stackable. Old IDs will not be migrated yet.
The lottery bag will now give the new IDs of shop items.
Both SMS shop items will work; in some cases, scripts were updated to reflect both ID changes.
Bookcases are now destroyable.
All clubs, axes, and swords are now able to destroy things; dozens of items with new IDs were missing this function.

Player discovered bug which allowed to crash server, it's been fixed, but it caused issues.

Tibia 8.6 Client was crashing when moving items, because fix changed some packet management which caused it to crash constantly.

Now both 8.6 players and server no longer crashing - because of that 50% exp gonna stay for 1 more week.

Furyosa and Hatebreeder - added missing boss
Jack Fate won't take you randomly to Goroma if you finished Goroma quest.
Wiki - there is new wiki in making, it will contain all monsters direclty from servers, loot and items ( you can check which monster give you highest chance to get item etc.
Also player can add their own articles, template for quests and guides.
It will also contain all new/non standard real tibia information about server.

Paladin was always behind - at least with current balance, reducded bolt and arrow prices to RL prices and added GMP to use.
Knights could out heal any boss in the game - 1000+ avg heal from potion each second, also ability to use strong mana potions.
Sorcerers and Druids had best experience in terms of "fast exp", because ability to spam UE and go full waste experience.


Summary Changes:
Strong Mana Potion: Now restores slightly less mana (decreased from 115-185 to 105-175).
Great Mana Potion: Now restores less mana (decreased from 150-250 to 140-240).
Vocation Note: This potion is now also usable by Paladins, in addition to Druids and Sorcerers.
Great Health Potion: Now restores less health (decreased from 425-575 to 400-560).
Great Spirit Potion: The health restored has been reduced (from 250-350 to 240-340). Mana restoration remains unchanged.
Ultimate Health Potion: Now restores less health (decreased from 650-850 to 600-800).
Ultimate Spirit Potion: Now restores less health (decreased from 400-550 to 375-520) and less mana (decreased from 150-250 to 140-240).
Supreme Health Potion: Now restores less health (decreased from 850-1105 to 800-1045).
Ultimate Mana Potion: Now restores less mana (decreased from 400-550 to 375-525).

Ammunition price changes in all NPC's:
Crystalline Arrow: Price decreased from 35 to 20.
Diamond Arrow: Price decreased from 200 to 130.
Drill Bolt: Price decreased from 18 to 12.
Envenomed Arrow: Price decreased from 18 to 12.
Prismatic Bolt: Price decreased from 35 to 20.
Spectral Bolt: Price decreased from 140 to 70.

Buffed Exura san for paladins formulae for now
