Patch 1.9 — 26.08.2026
Author: Shakra

Overview This patch focuses primarily on comprehensive quest fixes, end-to-end support for Warzones 1–3, overhaul of outfits and addon tracking, item/monster corrections, and backend performance optimizations.

The Great Quest Overhaul Over 35 quest lines were audited against the wiki and original scripts to ensure correct states, triggers, and rewards.

  • Quest Log Fixes: Resolved blank entries, disappearing missions, and "An error has occurred" messages across major lines (including What a Foolish Quest, In Service of Yalahar, The Hidden City of Beregar, Wrath of the Emperor, The Ice Islands, Pits of Inferno, Bigfoot's Burden, and The Travelling Trader).

  • Object Interactions: Fixed unregistered items and triggers, including the lock pick, Santa's mailbox on Vega, Secret Service tools, Thieves Guild keys, Sea of Light crystals, Travelling Trader Outlaw Camp door, and all 25 tomb switches.

  • Killing in the Name of... Tasks:

    • Fixed rank display falling behind or vanishing past 100 points.

    • Preserved boss missions upon entering teleporters.

    • Added missing tasks/counters for Bruise Payne, Rotworms, and Cyclopes; corrected Wailing Widows target from 300 to 400.

    • Fixed swapped boss rooms for Tiquanda's Revenge and Demodras.

    • Prevented spamming multiple special task rewards at once.

  • Softlock & Logic Fixes:

    • Children of the Revolution: Fixed the exit portal trapping players indefinitely.

    • What a Foolish Quest: Bozo now validates exploding cookie delivery before advancing.

    • Hand-In Safeguards: NPCs now verify valid turn-ins before consuming items or gold (e.g., In Service of Yalahar now correctly demands the Vampiric Crest instead of taking a magical torch).

    • Crashes & Blockers: Resolved crashes using mounts in Barbarian Test, Sven's progress tracking, Yalahar Quara leader flags, Harog's nail stock, Djinn faction trading/dialogue checks, and Renegade Orc / scrying device kills in An Uneasy Alliance.

Warzones 1–3 The Kazordoon Warzones are fully playable from entrance to boss encounters.

  • Functional Entrances: Crystals now teleport players down or prompt Gnomally's red teleport crystal if access is missing.

  • Boss Access & Arenas: Boss teleporters for Deathstrike, Gnomevil, and Versperoth are fully linked, including working arena exit portals.

  • Gnomevil Wall Mechanics: Killing Infected Weeper parasites progressively breaks the crystal wall to spawn Gnomevil. The wall regenerates after 30 minutes without trapping players.

  • Cooldowns & Achievements: Bosses enforce a 20-hour personal cooldown, and completing all three areas grants the Dungeon Cleaner achievement.

Outfits, Addons & NPCs

  • Quest Log Retention: Unified all 23 outfit/addon quests under a consistent marker so finishing one addon no longer removes the entire category from the log.

  • Unobtainable Addons Fixed: Corrected ending step conditions for Female Mage / Male Summoner headgear and both Shaman addons.

  • NPC Keyword Matching: NPCs now recognize actual item names (e.g., warrior's sweat, blue piece of cloth, Dracola's eye) rather than arbitrary shorthand, and saying "no" no longer triggers Minotaur Leather turn-ins.

  • Svargrond Arena: Enrolling with Halvar now logs the arena in the quest journal.

Quest Rewards & Chests

  • Storage Collision Fixes: Separated shared storage IDs across chests (Fire Axe no longer closes Blood Herb; Crown Shield/Bright Sword no longer blocks Hot Cuisine; Helmet of the Ancients no longer conflicts with Drefia quests).

  • The Ape City: The Mission 3 parchment chest in Chor is now repeatable per player rather than one-per-server.

  • Queen of the Banshees: Restored seal lever scripts, fixed the third seal restart bug, and allowed direct kiss turn-ins once all six seals are unlocked.

  • The New Frontier: The armor rack after Tirecz now reliably grants the Warmaster outfit.

World, Items & Monsters

  • Sam's Old Backpack: Removed from standard Orc drop tables; now drops exclusively from the designated raid Orc.

  • Spawns & Map Fixes: Restored poison fields and dark mushrooms in Dusalk's Troll Clan Cave, fixed The Collector leaving the wrong corpse in Sea of Light, and added the missing spawn for Scion.

  • Vocation Requirements: Elemental sets (Magma, Terra, Lightning, Glacier head/boots) are restricted to Sorcerers and Druids. High-tier robes are aligned with their dedicated vocation:

    • Sorcerer: Dragon Robe, Velvet Mantle, Dark Lord's Cape

    • Druid: Robe of the Ice Queen, Greenwood Coat

Performance & Engine Fixes

  • Optimized Depot Saves: Player inventories/depots serialize as a single database entry rather than one row per item, reducing full-depot save times from ~130ms to ~20ms.

  • NPC Tick Throttling: Idle NPCs without nearby players skip active tick cycles to free server resources.

  • Mobile Client & Store Inbox: Resolved client loops caused by treating the Store Inbox as an openable container/purse.

20.8.2026 -
Patch 1.8 — 20.08.2026
Author: Shakra

Overview: Two big additions this patch. You can now report a bug without leaving the game — one hotkey grabs a screenshot and your position, and you get told when it is fixed.
Houses also stop sitting empty forever: any house whose owner has not logged in for a month goes up for auction on the website, and you bid on it with your bank balance.

New Feature: Report a Bug From Inside the Game

  • One Hotkey, Full Report: Press Ctrl+Z anywhere in the game to open the report window. The client takes a screenshot for you and attaches where you are standing, so you only have to pick a category and write a sentence or two about what went wrong.
  • Pick What Kind of Bug It Is: Say what broke — a quest, an NPC, the map, an item, the client itself — so your report lands with the right person.
  • You Get Told What Happened: Reports go onto a public bug board. When a report becomes a real task, and again when that task is finished, you get a reply on your own report — no more sending something into a void.
  • Staff See It in Minutes: In-game reports could sit for up to an hour before anyone was notified. They now reach the team within a couple of minutes.
  • Three reports per hour, per account.

New Feature: House Auctions

  • Empty Houses Come Back on the Market: If a house owner has not logged in for 30 days and does not hold Noble status in that time, their house is automatically listed for auction. Long-abandoned houses stop being locked away for years.
  • Bid on the Website: Auctions run for 7 days and are listed on the website. You bid straight from your bank balance — the gold is held while your bid stands, and it is returned to you the moment someone outbids you.
  • The Rules: The minimum bid is the house's normal buy price; from there it is whoever wants it most. If nobody bids, the owner keeps the house. If someone wins, the house changes hands when the auction closes and the previous owner's belongings are moved to their depot.
  • Owners Can Fight Back: An inactive owner can bid on their own house to keep it, at whatever price the market sets. Logging back in mid-auction does not cancel it.
  • One House Each: Winning an auction while you already own a house is not possible — the same rule that has always applied to buying one.

Quests

  • Dreamer Challenge Fire Bug Works: Using a fire bug on the ashes did absolutely nothing — no effect, no message, no teleport. It now lights the ashes and opens the way through, as it always should have.
  • Dark Armor Quest Has Its Armor Again: The body at the bottom of the Edron orc cave rotted away roughly half an hour after every restart, and even when it was there it held nothing. It now stays put and contains the Dark Armor.

Website

  • Powergamers Stops Resetting Twice a Day: The daily experience list was wiped both at midnight and again after the morning server restart, so half your day's experience vanished from the ranking. It now resets once a day, at midnight, and counts your full day.

Patch 1.7 — 13.08.2026
Author: Shakra

Overview

This patch hunts down the quiet failures — the objects you click that simply do nothing back. A whole class of quest targets (cracks, planks, webs, debris) never actually reached the server when you used a tool on them, and every one of them now responds. On top of that, the Sea Serpent hunt is implemented end to end for the first time, Oriath's houses are finally on the market, and moving around got fixed: map clicks find real routes again and following someone survives a floor change.

Quests

  • The Sea Serpent Hunt Is Live: The open-sea half of the hunt existed on the map but nothing on the ship responded. The full chain now works — buy bait from Captain Haba, load the crane, climb the mast and use the telescope, then tell the captain which way to sail. Six readings later you find the hunting grounds and can dive to the sea serpents below.

  • Captain Haba Answers You: The captain used to greet you, hand out the first bait task, and then fall completely silent. He now responds to every step of the bait mission instead of ignoring you.

  • Tools That Did Nothing Now Work: Several quest objects never registered the tool you used on them, so the action failed with no message at all. Fixed for the crack in the Hidden City of Beregar and the bridge you build there, the sacred coal pool in Wrath of the Emperor, the plank in Secret Service, and the spider web in The Inquisition.

  • Carlin Cemetery Secret Wall: The hidden torch lever in the cemetery basement now opens the wall it is supposed to open.

  • Quest Chests Give the Right Reward: Several chests were handing out another chest's item entirely — the box in Carlin gave a Dragon Lance instead of the bone key needed for the cemetery doors. Rewards now match their chest, and a bookcase that could be looted over and over is now a one-time reward like every other.

World & Map

  • Draw Wells Don't Bury You: Using a draw well could drop you inside solid rock with no way out. Wells now land you somewhere you can actually stand.

  • Magic Wall and Wild Growth Decay Again: Both used to become permanent after a server restart, leaving hunting grounds and choke points blocked forever. They now expire on schedule.

  • Oriath Houses Are Open for Business: Every house in Oriath was sitting nameless, priced at nothing and assigned to no town, so none of them could be rented. All of them now have their proper name, rent and town, and are available like any other house in the game.

NPCs & Trading

  • Yasir Buys Creature Products Again: Yasir's buy list was missing a large share of what he should take. It has been rebuilt against the full list, so the creature products you gather at sea and inland sell to him properly.

  • Sell All Works Properly: Selling a full backpack could silently drop part of the sale, and each click rebuilt the entire sale list and stalled the trade window. Sell All now sells everything you selected and responds immediately.

Client Fixes

  • Map Click Walking Fixed: Clicking the map or minimap could report no path, stop partway, or send you off on a completely different route. Auto-walk now follows the route you asked for and continues to the end.

  • Follow Survives Floor Changes: Following a player or creature no longer breaks the moment either of you changes floor.

  • Mobile View Steadied: On phones the visible area is now matched to what the server actually streams, so the edges of the screen no longer show stale or missing tiles.

Patch 1.6 — 07.08.2026
Author: Shakra

Overview: This patch is a deep clean-up of the world itself. A long list of quests that stalled halfway through now run to the end, several teleports and doors finally lead where they should, and Oriath is properly open for business. Trading got a lot friendlier too — charged rings and amulets sell again, Naji handles gold transfers, and the Market tabs in the client load as intended. Behind the scenes we tracked down a fault in the server's database layer that had silently switched off two whole systems: scheduled raids and the daily lottery are both live again.

Quests

  • Annihilator Restored: The lever room now places demons and players where they belong, so the Annihilator quest can be started and completed properly again.
  • Dreamer Challenge Tower: The tower teleports now tell you exactly what you're missing instead of silently refusing. If you lack the rank you're told so, and you no longer lose your orichalcum pearl when a jump doesn't go through.
  • Quests Brought Back to Life: A batch of quest interactions that had stopped responding are working again — including the Naginata quest, the Banshee quest, the rubble in the Hidden City of Beregar and the Spider Cult tasks. Objects you dig, pry, and interact with now react the way they should.
  • Reward Chests: Another set of quest chests across the world now hands over its reward instead of doing nothing.
  • Yalahar Fix: A quest character in Yalahar was appearing as a creature instead of an NPC. He is now where he belongs and can be spoken to.
  • Crowbar Handout Fixed for Good: Prying out the crowbar in "Something Rotten" no longer fails depending on where you happen to be standing.

World & Teleports

  • Deepling Boss Exits: The teleports leading out of the deepling boss rooms now work and take you back to the surface correctly.
  • Roshamuul Carpet: The magic carpet no longer fails on use — it reliably brings you back to the Thais temple.
  • Dusalk's Troll Cave: The door that could not be opened is unlocked, so the cave can be explored all the way through.
  • Ashkarak: The demons there were standing in the wrong spots and have been placed where they belong.

NPCs & Trading

  • Gold Transfers Work Again: Naji no longer reports every recipient as "Unknown" and refuses the transfer. You can now send gold to any character, online or offline, and the name is matched no matter how you type it.
  • Sell Your Used Charges: Rings and amulets that still have charges left can be sold to NPCs again, at full price. Previously merchants simply ignored them.
  • Oriath Opened Up: Captain Syrus now drops you at the correct arrival point in Oriath, and the town's merchants, guards and ship captains are in place, so the area is properly reachable and usable.
  • Bank & Shop Reliability: Fixed the underlying database handling behind the bank NPCs and the in-game shop, so purchases and banking commands no longer fail unexpectedly.

Items & Balance

  • Soft Boots Buff: Soft Boots now regenerate noticeably faster — roughly triple the health and mana return over the same wearing time.

Client Fixes

  • Market Tabs Fixed: "My Offers" and "My History" in the Market window now load your data instead of coming up empty.

General Fixes

  • Daily Lottery Is Back: The daily record of experience gained and time played — the very thing the lottery draw reads to hand out tickets — had stopped being written correctly, so no tickets had been awarded for weeks. Recording is fixed, a bug that could destroy a whole day's entry is gone, and the corrupted entries left behind have been cleaned up, so daily draws count your play again.
  • Raids and Boss Spawns Are Running Again: Scheduled raids and timed boss spawns had quietly stopped firing entirely. The fault in the server's database layer that killed the scheduler on startup has been fixed, the timing bug that mis-scheduled events alongside it, and the world event schedule has been repopulated. Raids now announce and spawn on schedule again.

Community

  • Bug Reports Now Answer Back: The bug reports you post on our Discord are picked up automatically, and you are notified in your own report thread the moment the issue is fixed — the thread is then closed. No more wondering whether anyone read it.

5.8.2026 -
Patch 1.5 — 05.08.2026
Author: Shakra

Quests

  • Svargrond Arena Reopened: The Barbarian Arena is back in action. Halvar responds again and you can enter and fight your way through the arena challenge as intended.
  • In Service of Yalahar — Something Rotten: Fixed the first mission so the crowbar you need is now handed over correctly, letting you start and complete the task.
  • Quests That Went Quiet: Restored a set of quest interactions that had become disconnected during the engine migration. Levers, objects and reward triggers tied to these quests respond properly once more.

NPC & Shops

  • Missing Trade Options Restored: Several NPCs will once again buy and sell the items they were meant to. Rashid now takes your Oriental Shoes, and other merchants across the world have had their missing offers put back in place.

Items & Balance

  • Correct Gear for the Right Class: Fixed a handful of items that were locked to the wrong vocation after our recent equipment pass — including the Calopteryx Cape and several depth and prismatic pieces. Gear you should be able to wear is wearable again, and pieces meant for everyone are no longer restricted.

Mobile Client

  • Smoother View at the Edges: Fixed the extended map view on mobile so it no longer pushes past the visible area in far-flung regions like Roshamuul, removing the desync and display glitches some players saw near the edges of the screen.

Community

  • Report Bugs on Discord: Our Discord assistant, GM Boter, now helps us track bug reports. Describe a problem in the bug-reports channel on our Discord server and the bot will log it for the team and confirm it was received — and it will let you know once your report has been fixed.
